We are finally entering warmer Spring months here at Metro Cinema and while the world gets brighter outside we’re looking to make the inside of our theatre brighter too! Help us illuminate the aisles in our auditorium to make our cinema safer during shows.

 

Our Spring Fundraiser launched on March 2 at our annual Awards Night and we hope you can help us light up Metro Cinema’s very own red carpet. We’re aiming to raise $15,000 to fund the LED strips we’re installing along the carpeted aisles on the main floor as well as the stairs leading up to our balcony seating. The fundraiser will run until May 1.

 

As always, you will receive a tax receipt for any amount over $25 donated. You will also be entered into a draw to win a Silver Screen pass, Popcorn Pass, and a selection of Merch (some of which may not be making a return once it’s gone)!

 

Thank you for always casting a giant spotlight on our organization, we can’t express our appreciation enough, and the cinema wouldn’t glow without your support.

The reward draw will be conducted May 2nd, upon completion of the fundraising campaign.
No purchase necessary. To enter the draw you can also submit a 1500 word essay on your favourite film and receive one entry slip for the “Metro Prize Pack” draw. A PDF copy of your essay can be submitted to info@metrocinema.org
