Godzilla Through the Eras will explore the different periods and themes of Godzilla and kaiju filmmaking, from the original to modern Godzilla films. The franchise is a unique opportunity to combine fun action cinema with political satire and social commentary, and hopefully this series will bring out Godzilla fans, new and old!

 

About the Programmer: Jin Mah is a fourth year U of A history who been a fan of Godzilla for a long time, but has only recently been able to explore the true depth of the franchise. Jin loves satire as well as history, which the franchise encapsulates and combines well, as well as having discussions about just about anything ranging from games and media to nature and history!
