Transit Info
The Garneau Theatre is easily accessible by public transit. The closest bus stop is serviced by the number 9 bus on 109 St. We are a 5-10 minute walk north of Whyte Ave, which is served by major routes 4 & 8, and we are also a short walk to the East from the University Transit Station, which is served by a number of buses and the LRT. Parking Info
Because we are a heritage structure, in the midst of a vibrant mature neighbourhood, parking can be a challenge. The Garneau Theatre does not have a dedicated parking lot but the City of Edmonton has metered street parking available in the surrounding area. There is also free parking available in the residential neighbourhood nearby, but we cannot guarantee it will be available and you will need to pay attention to all signage or you may get a ticket if you park in Resident Only zones.
