Come for a trip through cinema history to a parade of soirées, bashes, get-together’s, jamboree’s, and festivities! Don’t mind the trauma, social irresponsibility, and long-held grudges bubbling under the surface! These films follow characters manoeuvring concentrated social gatherings and loaded social niceties as they dodge their interpersonal histories, repressed emotions, and loves gained and lost. Laugh, cry, and scream as entire lives crumble in the span of a single evening! But hey, it’s a party!

About the Programmer: Zane Kordich recently graduated from an engineering physics program and is currently working as an optical designer for laser medical devices. To combat the demons that result from that he’s latched onto compulsive film watching and video editing. He currently uploads increasingly esoteric anime music videos to Youtube under the pseudonym Prostrate Constantly and recently hosted a correspondingly unhinged retrospective of those videos at The Aviary. He’s really into animation and art that makes you feel weird, and he volunteers at the Metro pretty often so he may just have his grubby hands on your popcorn.
