14A Coarse Language
Angela Baker, a traumatized and very shy young girl, is sent to summer camp with her cousin. Shortly after her arrival, anyone with sinister or less than honourable intentions gets their comeuppance.
Reframing Transness in Cinema – Exploring representations of transness in cinema, with a focus on reclaiming subversive or problematic representation through a trans-affirming lens.
Miss Maria Mellor (She/Her/Miss) is a Trans Woman & Lesbian, Activist, Advocate and Artist. Miss describes herself as an art scene hangabout, citing roots as a classically-trained bassist, ties to the music industry and the local punk scene, and a history of advocacy and leadership roles in the Trans Community. Miss is passionate about art in all forms, & especially, the intersection of Queerness, art and counterculture. Presently, she a lives life artistically enriched and blissfully unemployed, like something straight out of Richard Linklater’s “Slacker”.
