The story of two outcast sisters, Ginger and Brigitte, in the mindless suburban town of Bailey Downs. On the night of Ginger’s first period, she is savagely attacked by a wild creature. Ginger’s wounds miraculously heal but something is not quite right. Now Brigitte must save her sister and save herself.

Karen Walton is a celebrated screen and television writer best known for her debut feature screenplay for original Canadian cult horror classic, Ginger Snaps. Her critically acclaimed writing has been featured on hit Canadian and US series such as Queer As Folk (Showtime) and Orphan Black (Bell/BBC America). Karen is currently a writer and co-executive Producer on the pending Canadian Netflix Original, The Untitled Newfoundland Project, created by Jesse McKeown (The Umbrella Academy) and starring Josh Hartnett and Mackenzie Davis. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Karen spent her late teens and twenties in Alberta, where she was first introduced to filmmaking at Edmonton’s Film and Video Arts Society of Alberta (FAVA).  She has lived and worked out of Toronto since 1994.
