France/Ireland/UK/USA 2001, 96 min, Dir: Sharon Maguire
Presented in partnership with Naked & Frayed and Little Blue Fibre Studio
At the start of the New Year, 32-year-old Bridget (Renée Zellweger) decides it’s time to take control of her life—and start keeping a diary. Now, the most provocative, erotic and hysterical book on her bedside table is the one she’s writing. With a taste for adventure, and an opinion on every subject—from exercise to men to food to sex and everything in between—she’s turning the page on a whole new life.
It’s the return of the crafternoon movie screening! This means lights will be left semi-raised so viewers can see the screen AND their projects, and you get to hang out with a community of fellow crafters!
Come out and meet up with other crafting enthusiasts, enjoy a fun movie from the early 2000s, and bring your own projects to work on. If you don’t have anything on the go, don’t worry, vendors will also be in the lobby selling various supplies/kits. All craft types are welcome, as long as they don’t require a lot of space or make a lot of noise (we’re looking at you, sewing machines), and please make sure to clean up any mess they may cause.
Lobby vendors: Naked & Frayed, Nest Embirdery, and The Fibre Nook
