Zishe Breibart travels from eastern Poland to Berlin in the 1930s to join a night club cabaret where he is billed as the world’s strongest man. When Breibart’s Jewish background is revealed, it makes an enemy out of the club is psychic Hanussen, who is keen to rise to power in the embryonic Nazi Party.
