Watch Trailer

“One, two, Freddy’s coming for you. / Three, four, better lock your door. / Five, six, grab your crucifix. / Seven, eight, gonna stay up late. / Nine, ten, never sleep again”.

And with that simple rhyme, one of the biggest horror franchises of all time was born. Before Freddy became the wisecracking superstar slasher found in Nightmares 3, 4, and 5, the 1984 original was a truly terrifying introduction to a twisted child killer and urban legend come to life. Join NWFF for a special 40th anniversary screening of Wes Craven’s influential and game-changing classic!

While dream demon Fred Krueger terrorizes the slumber of Nancy Thompson and her circle of friends (including a very young Johnny Depp!) Nancy’s police officer father (played by the late, great John Saxon) tries to get to the bottom of these mysterious killings.
