A Page of Madness (1926) with The Nausea

A PAGE OF MADNESS is a silent experimental horror film in which a retired sailor gets hired in a mental hospital as a janitor to get close to his wife, who was locked away after the murder of their child. He tries to make her escape, but his wife refuses to follow him. As he attempts to rescue her from the institution, his plans lead to chaos and tragedy, reflecting themes of madness, regret, and the impact of his past decisions on their family.
