As an organization invested in ongoing community engagement, Metro Cinema wants to open our screen, and the 90,000 patrons who join us in front of it, to the public service announcements of neighbouring charitable organizations. We are looking for videos, 2 minutes or less, that are educational in nature from agencies offering social, health, or education services in northern Alberta.
Our goal is to help spread awareness of various non-profit organizations doing meaningful community work in an effort to improve the quality of life of all Edmontonians.
Videos that meet this criteria will be sent to the projectionist’s booth to be used at their discretion during pre-show trailers for Metro programming. We cannot guarantee the frequency of showings, but each announcement will circulate for 3-6 months before being retired.
