Meet some interesting people and talk about film. Typically, we’ll ask you to join us for an evening or matinees a few times a month for a 3-6 hour shift. During your shift, we will provide you with concession snacks and a double-guest pass to our films. And we’ll invite you to our parties!
Become an Event Photography Volunteer
Become a volunteer!
Metro has a lot of special events and films that have added preshow content and we’re looking to document them. Do you have experience of any kind with event photography and are you interested in picking up a photography volunteer shift here and there? Apply to be on our event photo volunteer list—no minimum commitment required.
Shifts range from 45 minutes to a couple hours, and editing of the photos is not required, but appreciated. For each shift you’ll receive an Admit Two movie pass, and if you’ve volunteered for 5 or more shifts, we’d offer the use of the theatre for a free 2 hour photography shoot at a mutually agreed upon time.
Must have own photography equipment. Should have experience with event photography, particularly in lower-light situations.
When applications are open, please apply with your portfolio/social media/samples of event photography, and any questions you may have.
