It’s time for our Annual General Meeting! The AGM will be held November 29 at 10AM at the theatre and is open to the public, though only Members are eligible to vote. Members in attendance are also invited to enjoy the screening of Minotaur at 12:30pm following the AGM, for free!
Society Membership also expires at the end of the AGM at 12PM and must be subsequently be renewed to be considered active for the next year, so be sure to re-register for Membership after the AGM upon becoming eligible. For additional information, you can visit our Membership Page.
If you would like to gain Membership specifically to vote at the AGM, there are three ways to do so:
- Donate $100 or more (one-time) to the Society this calendar year. A charitable tax receipt will be offered for your donation. You can donate to us at the theatre, or via Canada Helps.
- Volunteer a minimum of 12 hours at Metro Cinema (or equivalent in professional services) during the one year period.
- Purchase a Silver Screen pass
