On the way to the funeral of their estranged father, siblings Rob and James, along with their respective partners, search for a place to grab a bite to eat and stretch their legs. Along the bare stretch of highway, the group comes across a roadside diner. They meet the owners, and after a strange meal and off-putting conversation, they continue on their way. The course of their trip is suddenly changed by a fatal car accident. Wrought with fear and guilt for what they’ve done, the group returns to the diner to call the police—and whatever help they can find.Â
